Does anxiety take over your thoughts?

You’re not the only one, now when I’m anxious and it takes over my life I surrender those thoughts & feelings to God himself. It’s hard some days but I’m practicing, my absolute favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 & has gotten me through some dark moments in my life. It’s hard but let go and let God.🙏❤️

... Read moreAnxiety can often feel overwhelming, but one of the most powerful tools for managing it is through faith and prayer. Scriptures like Jeremiah 29:11 remind us of God's plans for our lives, which include hope and a future, essential elements in combating anxiety. Proverbs 3:5 also emphasizes the importance of trust; believing that God's understanding surpasses our own can bring comfort during troubled times. Furthermore, Matthew 6:34 encourages us to focus on the present, reminding us that each day holds its own challenges, and worrying about tomorrow only adds to our anxiety. Embracing these verses can foster a mindset of peace and resilience, reinforcing the notion that we are not alone in our struggles. Building a spiritual support system—through community prayer, Bible study, and sharing experiences about letting go—can create a sense of belonging and upliftment. Connecting with others who share similar faith and struggles can offer new perspectives and coping strategies, allowing for personal and spiritual growth. The journey of overcoming anxiety is constant, and by surrendering our worries to God, we can cultivate a deeper sense of faith and tranquility in our lives.
