Airbnb with UNOBSTRUCTED Mt Fuji View 🗻
we found this Airbnb for only about $135/night and honestly felt like we struck the jackpot!! it has a 4.92⭐ rating, is a GUEST FAV, and has 114 reviews!! i was initially abit apprehensive but after staying here, i can totally see why~
the BIGGEST highlight? Mt Fuji is literally in your backyard. just step outside the room and ure greeted with a full, unobstructed view of the mountain. NO NEED to drive anywhere or fight for photo spots 🤩
the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming eventho she doesnt stay in fuji area. she shared lots of food recommendations & things to do arnd the area without us even having to ask + whenever we had any questions, she replied almost immediately
location wise, SUPER convenient:

the Airbnb itself was also way more well equipped than we expected. it sleeps up to 4 ppl with 2 double beds, has free WIFI, and self checkin so you can arrive anytime without worrying about meeting the host
one thing i loved was the little japanese touches tru out the accoms!! they even provided origami paper, traditional jpn toys and activities that both adults and kids can enjoy 🥹
if ure planning to save some money by cooking, this place has got you covered. the entire kitchen is included:

honestly, it's so comprehensive that you could easily whip up a full meal here!
a small downside is that the bath area isn't attached to the room and is located separately outside. it's only about 3 metres away and each apartment gets its own private bath area, so there's no sharing with other guests~
also, the first drive there was admittedly a little stressful because the roads are narrow and it is mostly oneway 😅 we got confused a few times trying to find the place BUT after a couple of trips, we became pros at navigating the route hehe
overall, this was one of our FAVVV stays during our japan trip. AFFORDABLE, convenient, amazing host, fully equipped and WAKING UP TO Mt Fuji every morning was just unreal ❤️

One feature I particularly appreciated was the fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to prepare our own meals. As someone who enjoys cooking and trying local ingredients, having access to a stove, fridge, and all necessary utensils enabled us to save money and enjoy cozy dinners indoors while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. This was especially helpful since the nearby convenience stores, Lawson and 7-Eleven, provided easy access to fresh and traditional Japanese snacks. The private bath area, located just a few meters from the room, added a touch of local culture and relaxation. Unlike shared facilities typical in many accommodations, having a dedicated shower room gave us privacy and a peaceful unwinding spot after full days of exploring. Though not attached to the main room, it was incredibly convenient and clean. Navigating the narrow, mostly one-way streets initially posed a challenge, and I recommend having GPS and a bit of patience on the first visit. However, after a couple of attempts, we mastered the route and even enjoyed driving through this charming neighborhood. Another highlight was the host's welcoming attitude despite not living locally. Their prompt replies and generous sharing of insider tips about local foods, scenic spots, and cultural experiences significantly enriched our visit without us needing to ask. Overall, waking up to the breathtaking Mt Fuji view from the balcony every morning was simply surreal and deeply inspiring. Whether you’re traveling solo, with family, or friends, this Airbnb offers a perfect mix of affordability, comfort, and authentic Japanese ambiance—with the iconic mountain as your stunning backdrop.
