Please excuse the messiness of the pictures, this is my first post and I wasn’t sure how to really do it. I just need/want more mom friends. Just comment and we could talk on another platform!! ❤️❤️

... Read moreHi fellow mamas! It’s incredible how much life changes with little ones, isn’t it? I’m currently navigating the beautiful chaos of being a mom to a 13-month-old son, and as if that wasn’t enough joy, I’m also 31 weeks pregnant with a baby girl! It feels like a whirlwind, and honestly, sometimes it can feel a little isolating, especially being a SAHM here in Georgia. That’s why I’m so eager to connect with other moms who truly get it.
Finding your village is something everyone talks about, but actually building it? That’s the real challenge! I’ve realized having mom friends isn't just a 'nice to have,' it's essential for sanity and support. Who else truly understands the sleep deprivation, the endless questions about milestones, or the pure magic of watching your little one discover something new? Sometimes, I just need to vent about a tough day or celebrate a small victory with someone who’s been there, done that, or is going through it right now.
I started this journey as a mom pretty young, at 20, and I've learned so much already. From those first sleepless nights with my son to preparing for our baby girl’s arrival, every day is an adventure. I love spending time outdoors – whether it’s a walk at a local park, exploring trails, or just enjoying some fresh air in the backyard. I’m also a huge animal lover, so if you have furry friends, we'll definitely have something to chat about! I’ll admit, I can sometimes be a bit awkward when starting conversations, but once I get to know someone, I open right up. Just give me a little grace!
If you’re also looking to expand your mom circle, I’d love to share a few things I’ve found helpful, or wish I’d known sooner. Beyond just reaching out online, try exploring local mom groups on social media platforms – many towns have specific groups for new moms, SAHMs, or moms with kids in certain age ranges. Attending story time at the local library, visiting kid-friendly parks, or even checking out community center programs can be great ways to meet people in person. Sometimes just striking up a conversation with another mom at the grocery store or playground can spark a new friendship. It takes courage, but it’s so worth it.
Ultimately, I'm looking for genuine connections, someone to share the ups and downs of motherhood with, maybe grab a coffee (or a decaf for me right now!), or just have a good chat. I try my best to put my son's needs above my own, which I believe is just what moms do, even if sometimes it means I forget to take a moment for myself. If you're a mom in Georgia, especially if you're also a SAHM, pregnant, or have toddlers, please don't hesitate to reach out! Let's lift each other up and make this motherhood journey a little less lonely and a lot more fun.
That’s okay! I’m a mom to a 1 year and a half old girl and almost a 1 month old boy! Forest green or emerald is my favorite color! I love fall and doing things outdoors. My kids and I go outside everyday!
