I started getting overlay over my nails at the beginning of the summer and never looked back at acrylics. Back in high school, I started getting overlay before acrylic. I was sad that I couldn’t get them done routinely because I wasn’t the one paying for them 😗😗 (shout out to my momma). In my opinion, this saves me some $$, but everyone’s nail tech is different (I’m never letting her go 😭🫶🏾). I get my nails once a month with little to no chipping and not missing a nail! Most people prefer acrylics, which is okay! Some days, I do miss long nails. I’ll probably get a fresh set one of these days to reminisce, lol. Overlay isn’t that much different from acrylics. You can still do just about the same thing you get with overlay. As you can see, me and my frenchies are locked in real bad. ☺️ My next appt. isn’t until the 1st any vday suggestions??👀💕
