If you're curious about the full Ryu Ichi menu beyond the omakase, you'll find a variety of Japanese delicacies including wagyu donburi and fresh scallop preparations. The omakase experience here not only offers premium ingredients but also delightful presentations like the uni wrap sprinkled with edible gold. I also loved how the yuzu sorbet perfectly cleansed my palate at the end of the meal—something that complements the lighter flavors throughout this multi-course experience. For those interested in pairing drinks, Ryu Ichi’s offer of free hot sake for every two pax omakase is an unbeatable way to elevate your dining. The restaurant’s location at Flanders Square is a bit of a hidden treasure in Farrer Park, but well worth the visit if you enjoy intricate Japanese flavors and omakase culture. The chef takes time to explain each dish, adding a personal touch to the meal. If you’re exploring other sake bars or looking for hotate no kisu (scallop) options, combining your visit here with other spots like Roku Sake Bar or Yoru Sake Bar can make for an exciting culinary adventure in Singapore. Overall, Ryu Ichi’s combination of quality, price, and atmosphere makes it a top recommendation for omakase lovers and casual diners alike.
