JEJU SANGHOE 10/10✨

A friend recommended us this place and we decided to check it out last Friday night.

Went in sceptical because (what is the big deal about porridge???)

But we were stunned!

I would highly recommend if you had to choose :

1. ABALONE PORRIDGE

-10/10 nutritious, each bite has one bite of abalone

-flavourful

2. SANGHOE GUKBAP

-paired with sliced pork and pork ribs, each bite was so tender and flavourful it just fell off the rib!

-soup was so deep and they would even recommend you to add their secret seasoning which elevates the after taste

-I licked my bowl clean…haha

Each set comes paired with the side dishes of marinated quail eggs, 2 types of kimchi, and even a marinated raw male crab!

This place was 10/10 VALUE for money.

... Read moreWhen I first heard about JEJU SANGHOE, I was curious but unsure if porridge could be exciting. However, my experience completely changed that perception. The abalone porridge here stood out not just for its rich nutrition but because each spoonful includes real bits of abalone that add an ocean-fresh taste. This dish was comforting yet luxuriously flavorful, making it a unique find among Korean eateries. The Sanghoe gukbap was another highlight. The combination of sliced pork and pork ribs created a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture that's rare to find. The soup depth was impressive—rich and well-seasoned, it invited me to try their secret seasoning blend, which indeed enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. Pairing these main dishes with marinated quail eggs, assorted kimchi, and especially the marinated raw male crab added layers of taste and texture, making the meal feel complete and thoughtfully curated. From a personal standpoint, the value for money at JEJU SANGHOE is remarkable. You get a full, satisfying Korean dining experience without the hefty price tag. The dishes showcase authentic Jeju flavors and local ingredients, which are hard to find in many Korean restaurants outside Korea. For those interested in healthy yet indulgent options, this place hits the mark perfectly. If you are visiting Jeju or looking for a genuine Korean meal with a twist, I’d recommend you check out JEJU SANGHOE. Their focus on Jeju pork and fresh local seafood reflects a dedication to quality that any food lover can appreciate.

Our Jeju pre-wedding shoot with Mondoforest was truly such a dream 🥹🌸
I knew from the very start that I wanted Mondoforest to be our PWS photographer because I love their natural, candid, and film-like editing style. Their slots get booked up really fast, so I made my reservation 18 months in advance — and honestly, it was 100% worth it. We booked the shoot throug

🍊 jeju’s famous cafes — yay or nay?
📍 귤꽃다락 gyulkkotdarak / seogwipo a stone cottage that is genuinely one of the prettiest cafes I've been in. the tangerine drinks and desserts are cute and actually quite tasty. that said, every single corner is a designated photo spot and everyone is using it as one. but… i was doing it too 🤭
