I was the heaviest I had ever been besides the end of my pregnancy. And it wasn’t just “because I had a kid.” It was years of telling myself I was fine… that I’d eventually eat better… that I’d eventually start working out again… or thinking I’d have to wait until my health problems were resolved…that life’s curveballs were a good enough reason to let my health slide.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t showing up for myself the way I deserved. I wasn’t feeling good in my own body, and I wasn’t feeling healthy mentally or physically. And that showed up in my day-to-day life far more than I wanted to admit.

This transformation has been so much more than just weight loss. It’s been relearning discipline, rediscovering confidence, building better habits, and showing myself that change really is possible when you stop waiting for “the right time.”

What truly pushed me was wanting to be healthier for my family — physically, mentally, and emotionally. And now that I’m feeling the difference? I can’t believe I waited this long to start. The only thing I’m mad about is not beginning this journey sooner.

I’ve had some challenges during this journey. Two surgery’s. Ended up having to have my gallbladder removed just a few weeks into starting my journey. Then one a few days ago on my hand. Thankfully I’ve been able to stay on track and stay motivated through them both.

I’m still learning, still growing, and still working — but these past four months have already changed my life. 💪❤️
