Leaving everything behind to pursue fashion

Okay, a bit dramatic. I am not leaving EVERYTHING behind but I do want to pursue fashion.

I have so many ideas in my head.

I am slowly finding the steps where I can bring all of this to life. I cannot wait to show everyone what I am working on.

I hope everyone gravitates to it, but I know it won’t be easy but it needs to be different….

... Read moreHey everyone! So, as I mentioned, I'm diving headfirst into launching my very own clothing brand. It's not just about the clothes themselves, but the entire vibe, right? One thing I've been thinking a lot about is how hair plays such a huge role in completing any outfit. When I think about 'hair clothing' or how hair influences what we wear, it's really about creating a cohesive and stunning look from head to toe. It’s about more than just fabric; it’s about the full personal expression. For my brand, I want to make sure the pieces I design aren't just fashionable on their own, but also thoughtfully complement different hairstyles and personal aesthetics. Imagine a beautifully structured jacket – the impact it has can be entirely different if your hair is styled in a sleek low bun versus voluminous waves. I'm considering necklines that flatter various hair lengths and styles, thinking about how different fabrics drape around the face, and even contemplating future collections that might include stylish hair accessories that perfectly match the clothing lines. It’s all part of the big picture for my 'I Want To start a Clothing Brand' dream, ensuring every detail contributes to a harmonious overall look. Beyond the design process, I’m also excited to share practical tips for YOU, my future customers, on how to effortlessly pair your amazing outfits with your hair. For example, if you're wearing a statement necklace or a high-neck top, an elegant updo or a sleek ponytail can beautifully draw attention to these features, elongating your neck and highlighting the garment. On the other hand, if you’re rocking an open-neck blouse or a V-neck, letting your hair down in soft curls or natural waves can add a touch of effortless elegance and a relaxed, inviting vibe. I'm also exploring fabrics that are not just comfortable and stylish for clothing, but also hair-friendly. Think about materials that minimize static and frizz, especially for those of us with delicate or curly strands. These are the subtle but impactful details I'm obsessing over – how to make fashion not just look good, but feel good, and truly work in harmony with our natural beauty and daily life. It’s about creating clothing that supports your entire style, making getting ready a joy. It’s a journey of discovery, and I'm learning so much about how every element of personal style, from the clothes we choose to how we wear our hair, contributes to our unique expression. My goal is for my clothing brand to empower everyone to feel confident, stylish, and completely themselves, embracing their full, beautiful look. I can't wait to share more of these insights and my progress as my launch date of 1.17.24 gets closer!
