Go away Debby🌊⛈️

As you know it is hurricane season. If you have been traveling through this. Miami, Atlanta airports and multiple other airports have been ground stopping due to the storm.

I had to work a flight, and we were able to land, but no one was able to get off for another 2 hours and a half. 😭😭 Just know we know as much as you when you board the plane, being rude to the aviation crew isn’t going to help you get off the plane any quicker, it can just get you escorted off for causing disruption or a riot.

Please be kind to the avaition crews. Ww are not God and we do not have superpowers, which means we cannot control the weather.

However, we will do our best to make the experience feel a little better than it is.

Ground stops often lead to prolonged delays, leaving passengers stranded inside planes for hours. It's crucial for travelers to remain patient and understand that airline crews are doing their best in these challenging situations. During such storms, ensure you stay informed by checking flight statuses through official airline websites or travel apps. Always have an emergency kit prepared with essentials like water, snacks, and medications, as well as a backup power source for your devices. Being mentally and physically prepared can help ease the stress of travel disruptions. Additionally, if you notice inclement weather on your travel days, considering alternative travel arrangements could save you time and frustration. Review your travel insurance policy, as it may cover cancellations due to severe weather. Familiarizing yourself with hurricane safety tips, like knowing your evacuation routes, can also be beneficial. Remember, kindness goes a long way. Transport personnel are not able to control the weather, and treating them with respect can foster a more pleasant environment for everyone. Stay safe and be prepared, especially during peak hurricane months!
