I am NOT happy

I am in NO way happy that he has passed.

I am NOT celebrating the fact that he has passed.

Now, as I was saying.

I have found peace with his passing.

The last few days since he has passed, I have personally felt the weight of his death on my shoulders.

The knowledge of his death.

The drama of the events that occurred.

The war online against the mourners and the haters.

The live brutal disturbing footage of his last moments...

I have felt suffocated under the weight of this shift of events.

The mass amount of evil online is astounding, and I do not want to be dealing with it at all.

As a Catholic, I believe Charlie Kirk has done exactly what he needed to do on this earth.

I believe, as sudden as it was, it was sadly his time.

Everyone keeps saying his words are what killed him, but even God was nailed to the cross for his words and teachings.

Charlie Kirk was an example of God, who we should all strive to be like, and wasn't, at least publicly, afraid to speak his truth and spread God's word and gospel.

My religion has always taught me that God has a purpose for us on earth, and once we are done, we will join him again in the kingdom of heaven.

I can't think of another word Charlie Kirk could've said more,

from his teachings of the Christian religion,

to his truth about politics,

to the foreign affairs and our affairs,

he stood confidently and with his head high.

He was a husband, a father, and a son of our Lord,

and I believe he did what God intended for him to do.

I am not angry. I will not fight online with others.

If your opinion is negative, I will not let it weight me down.

I will not indulge myself in the hatred and evil in this world.

I will pray for his wife, his children, and for his soul.

I will remember his example of confidence and go through my life with confidence.

I will remember his words when I need to hear God's lessons,

And I will mourn a human being on this earth who touched the lives of so many.

... Read moreLosing someone can bring a heavy emotional toll, especially when their passing stirs significant online controversy and widespread public reaction. The feelings described here—such as the weight of death, facing harsh online emotions, and finding peace despite it all—are common experiences for those mourning in today’s digital world. When dealing with grief, many find solace in their faith, much like the perspective shared here from a Catholic viewpoint. Believing that everyone has a purpose assigned by God on earth and that there is a divine timing for each person provides a framework to accept loss with hope rather than despair. Charlie Kirk's example of speaking truth and living confidently resonates deeply for many, serving as a reminder that standing by one's principles and faith can provide strength during difficult times. The presence of brutal, disturbing footage and the war between mourners and detractors online highlight how public figures’ deaths often become contested spaces. This can amplify grief, making it more complex. Choosing not to engage in negative exchanges and focusing instead on prayer and positivity is a healthy and constructive response to the overwhelming negativity. Mourning someone publicly includes honoring their roles beyond public opinion—such as being a spouse, parent, or believer. Offering prayers for the family and the departed soul is a way to redirect energy from anger to compassion. Moreover, remembering the examples left behind—such as confidence, the courage to voice beliefs, and dedication to a cause—can inspire others to live meaningfully despite loss. This user-generated style reflection encourages readers to face their own challenges with the same confidence, turning grief into personal growth. Ultimately, this narrative reminds us that while death brings sadness and complexity, it can also be a moment to reaffirm faith, cherish positive memories, and reject hatred. It calls for understanding that every life has impact, and through prayer and remembrance, we keep that impact alive in our hearts and communities.

Not all great progress ends in crazy weight loss
This got a lot of hate when I first posted it one of my groups because my progress pic doesn’t end with weight loss… now reposting a year later, it didn’t end at all. When I first posted this a year ago, I posted because I was proud of my bulk, even when I was soo scared of gaining weight.
