The worlds largest buffalo
the World's Largest Buffalo, which is a giant statue named Dakota Thunder. It is a very popular roadside
stop for people traveling through North Dakota.
• Location: It sits in Jamestown, North Dakota, at a place called the Frontier Village.
• Size: The statue is 26 feet tall and 46 feet long. It weighs about 60 tons!
• Material: It is made out of concrete and steel.
• Age: A sculptor named Elmer Petersen built it way back in 1959.
