Coffee pot truck
This is a coffee pot truck made by Volvo.
Back in the 1950s, a Swedish coffee company called Gevalia built this to help sell their coffee. They took a Volvo truck and turned the front of it into a giant coffee pot, complete with a spout and a handle on top.
Here are a few fun facts about it:
• Real Steam: The truck could actually blow "steam" out of the spout to make it look like the coffee was hot and fresh.
• A Moving Ad: It traveled around Sweden to different events and markets. It was a great way to get people's attention—I mean, who wouldn't stop to look at a giant teapot on wheels?
• The Brand: You can see the name "Gevalia" on the side of the truck if you look closely. They are still a very famous coffee brand in Sweden today.
It's basically a vintage version of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, but for coffee lovers!
