Vortex X-2000
This is the 1962 Vortex X-2000, a rare one-of-a-kind custom show car built by Jerry Woodward in Provo, Utah.
Hand-crafted in a glass shop, it features a dramatic futuristic 1960s space-age design: a long, sleek body in metallic blue with gold lower panels, an open-top roadster style, and an extreme pointed nose.
It’s a three-wheeler (two wheels in the rear, one up front) powered by a Lincoln V8 engine.
The car was exhibited at major events like the Grand National Roadster Show.
A true classic survivor from the wild custom car era! The photo shows it parked in a driveway with its owner/builder.
