Tower of Babel
Tower of Babel is a monumental public sculpture by Canadian artist Brian Jungen in Montreal.
Built from hundreds of colorful discarded plastic objects—including chairs, buckets, toys, and traffic cones—it transforms everyday consumer waste into a towering artwork inspired by the biblical Tower of Babel.
The sculpture explores consumerism, mass production, and environmental waste, encouraging viewers to rethink the value and impact of the disposable objects that fill modern life.
