The end of the year is a time when we often want to take a break, review ourselves and start something new.
This year, I chose to take my mother to make merit at the end of the year at Phra Sirat Prophet Rama Temple (Phra Kaew Temple).
It gives time to the people we love and gives heart to ourselves.
A particularly intended thing is to prepare flowers and snacks for yourself.
Every step is done by heart, from choosing flowers to arranging to offering monks.
It may not be an expensive item, but one that has "intention" in its full hands.
The flowers offered are chipmunk flowers.
Thai flowers that look simple but latent with refinement.
Being in action makes you feel calm, like you've been practicing concentration.
The more you carry these flowers into the temple, the more still and warm it feels.
Making merit with mother
It's not just about making a wish for a better life.
But it's thanks to everything that's come through this year.
Good things, tired things, and lessons that teach us to grow up.
End of this year...
May our hearts be light
May the new year be kind to us.
And wish every step from now on
