Nose Contour ft Sephora concealer sticks

Here is my first impressions on the new Sephora concealer sticks. Now I do not think these are meant for under the eye. I feel it would cause a lot of creasing but for the nose and brows I am impressed. I like it. Make sure to set with your setting powder of choice.

Would you try these?

... Read moreOkay, so I've been seeing a lot of buzz around the new SEPHORA CONCEALER STICKS, and as someone who loves a good nose contour, I just had to get my hands on them. My first impressions were super positive, especially for refining my nose! If you're like me and always looking for that perfect sculpted look, keep reading. Here’s my personal routine for using these sticks for a defined nose contour. First, I like to swipe the stick directly from the tip down the sides of my nose, creating two parallel lines. I keep them quite close together, especially if I want to create the illusion of a slimmer bridge. Then, I'll add a small 'V' shape at the very tip, and sometimes a tiny dot between my brows to connect the contour. The creamy texture of these Sephora Collection cream contour sticks makes them incredibly easy to apply precisely. Now, blending is where the magic happens! I usually go in with a small, dense brush or even my finger to gently tap and blend out the lines. The great thing about these Sephora sticks is that they blend out smoothly without getting patchy, which is a huge plus for avoiding that muddy look. You want to soften the edges, not erase the contour entirely. I focus on blending upwards towards my brows and outwards towards my cheeks, making sure there are no harsh lines visible. As I mentioned in my initial thoughts, setting these with powder is non-negotiable for me, especially if you have oily skin or want your contour to last all day. After blending, I take a finely milled translucent setting powder and a small fluffy brush. I lightly press the powder over the contoured areas. This step not only locks everything in place but also helps to further blur any remaining lines and gives a beautiful, soft matte finish. It really makes a difference in preventing any creasing or fading throughout the day. While these SEPHORA CONCEALER STICKS are fantastic for contour, I totally agree with the initial assessment that they aren't ideal for under-eye brightening. I tried it once, and because of their slightly thicker, more pigmented cream formula (perfect for contour!), they tended to settle into fine lines and crease quite a bit on my delicate under-eye area. For under-eyes, I stick with lighter, more hydrating liquid concealers designed specifically for that purpose. But for defining and shaping, especially for a 'refyne nose' effect, these sticks shine! Beyond nose contour, I've also found these to be excellent for quick brow definition, as the original article hinted. A quick swipe under and above the brow arch, blended out, really sharpens the shape. I've even experimented with them for a subtle lip contour. They offer such versatility that makes them a great addition to my makeup bag. If you're looking for an affordable, effective cream contour stick, definitely give the Sephora Collection contour stick a try. They've really impressed me with their performance and ease of use, making my daily makeup routine so much quicker and more precise.
