most people know me as an artist but i take photography just as seriously ☺️ can’t wait for all the creative concepts this year has in store
Photography is an art form that thrives on creativity and versatility, and this year holds immense promise for innovative concepts. Having explored various genres like portraits, lifestyle, professional headshots, events such as weddings and christenings, and branding photography, I’ve learned how important it is to adapt techniques based on the subject and environment. For example, capturing families and couples in outdoor settings allows natural light to create a warm and vibrant atmosphere, whereas studio photography offers controlled lighting options to highlight details and expressions more sharply. One of my favorite aspects of photography is working with diverse clients — from kids and adults to couples and corporate brands — each bringing unique stories and emotions. Branding photography, in particular, challenges me to think beyond simple portraits, focusing on conveying brand identity through images. This type of work often involves strategy and collaboration to create visuals that resonate with target audiences. In addition, embracing local environments like Freeport adds a distinctive backdrop to my work, enriching photos with regional character. Whether it’s the soft glow of a sunset by the water or dynamic street vibes, these settings inspire fresh concepts that stand out. For photographers looking to expand their range, my advice is to stay open to every photography style and client need. Experiment with lighting, composition, and post-processing to develop a personal touch while meeting professional standards. Being serious about photography means constantly learning and experimenting, making each project a new opportunity to grow and express one’s artistic vision.
