UGHH!! Her phraseology skills are ALWAYS on point. She shares what you already know in a way that makes you go “WOW!!” or makes you feel like you’re hearing it again for the first time… it’s beautiful 🥺

🗣️PODCAST OVERVIEW: Her, and her Husband Preston, have had a podcast for a view years now. They are Christians who provide a fresh Christian perspective that’s rooted in biblical doctrine.

There isn’t one episode where that good book isnt pulled out lol.

❤️ WHY I LOVE THEIR PODCAST: They are young!! They are in their mid 30s at the moment (it was actually her birthday yesterday!)

I grew up in the church where the median age was easily 50. So seeing young adults who are respected in the Christian space, who are relatable, and who are well versed in what vices plague my generation and why, was TRULY a gift I didn’t know I needed/ didn’t even know existed 🥺

They talk about things that are too taboo to talk about in church, and do it in a healthy and comfortable manner!

While also, using text from the Bible AND being respectful of all people.. they know that at the end of the day, we are all brother and sisters in Christ, image barrers of the Lord & that sin is crafty and plagues everyone differently — so grace and patience with others is required.

🤐 UNCONVENTIONAL TOPICS THEY HAVE FOCUSED ON: Sex, porn, LGBTQ community and Jackee’s experience in it, Neurodiversity in the Church, What to do when friends leave the faith, How to Contend for the faith, What Submission is in marriage & How to make friends in adulthood to name a few.

They did a stellar job handling these conversations with care, without making their audience feel shameful. They do this by being super transparent about their current and past.

Sometimes they are even like “omg, I dealt with that yesterday!!” 🤭

which I find to be really encouraging.

📚 WHAT I HAVE LEARNED:

1️⃣ How important having a solid community is. we aren’t intended to do this life thing alone & that’s for a reason.

2️⃣ How to deal with attacks on your character in an appropriate way: She, her husband, and her friendship circle get backlash often. And they were in a discourse with this women on YT who had a pretty large following.

They chose to address it but they did so very maturely! I am sure instinct wise they wanted to handle it another way… but the fact that they didn’t and LEEEANNNEED on the Lord instead is very admirable.

Especially in the day and age where it’s easy to go viral off of going outside yourself.

3️⃣How it’s NORMAL to struggle being a Christian: I know the Lord didn’t say it would be easy, but sometimes I question if he really said it would be this hard?

4️⃣ How to Share the Faith: By getting closer to God and submersing myself with Christian communities, I have been less apprehensive about spreading the gospel.

Sharing the gospel used to be scary because I would overthink it. Fast forward to today, I see my role as being a seed planter - trusting that God will water them one day 🪴

I love how their podcasts encourages me to keep pressing on, while giving me tips and Bible verses along the way to keep me fueled and focused!

They are definitely part of my virtual Christian community and I thank God he led me to them… He always knows what I need even when I don’t 💕
