I have been watching a lot of TV this month and haven’t been listening to any new music since the major drops towards the end of the summer.
Which is so unlike me!!

Here what’s been keeping me busy:
MOVIES/DOCS
📺 1. Halloweentown: A classic, my son watched it for the first time and I think he liked it!
😱 2. Play Dirty: Feature film on Amazon Prime that was surprisingly good!!
Prime made films are hit or miss for me but this exceeded my expectations and reminded me of a grown up version of the “The Bad Guys”
📽️3. Documentary - Seen & Heard: This is REALLY good and the promo has been terrible. I literally found this by accident.
It’s about the history of black cinema and TV and how far it has come and how far it still needs to go.

SHOWS
🦸🏾♀️ 4. Peacemaker S2: This may be the last Peacemaker season we are getting :(
Apparently the end of S2 is setting us up for a spin off - I am okay with that as long as Peacemaker is still in it.
🤖 5. Upload S4 FINAL SEASON: It was good and it didn’t end how I wanted to which actually made it a bit better.
S1 was really strong and started falling off a bit for me, but S3 ended on a cliffhanger so I was eager for S4.
It came out during COVID and was one of my favorite shows to watch - I will treasure it ❤️
🌆 6. The Chi S7: This is the second to last season of the show and this season has been really good! Production wise I feel like they touched on their earlier style a bit more - which I LOVE.
I didn’t like how S7 started, it felt rushed. And I HATED how they had Reg come back and the first thing he wants to do is start trouble.
Could we not have him try to be on the straight and narrow for a little while first??
🥺 7. The Chosen S4: I have been taking my time with this show and am on the verge of finishing S4 this month.. sigh, I don’t want this to end.
💜8. Baylen Out Loud S2: Baylen is back!!
I found this show thanks to a rec on Lemon8 and it’s been my favorite and only reality show I watch with my bf that we both enjoy.
He even asked if another episode came out a few days ago - so he is INVESTED 🤭
He is on the spectrum too so it’s been so entertaining for me when we watch it and he is able to relate to/learn about the quirks he has never been able to put a name to.
Edutainment at its finest!! 💋
⚠️ Also bonus points to anyone who can tell me whether or not Baylen has a job? The show doesn’t make it seem like it.
