I HATE My Answer… But It’s the Truth!!!
It’s the holiday time and I am gearing up to watch “The Best Man Holiday”.. and it really got me thinking… the series never really cast the blame on the right person🤔

⭐️ MY POV: Yes, Harper should have told his best friend, Lance, about the book before before writing it. But maybe it was a blessing in disguise for Lance!
Looking at the glass half full, it’s a great opportunity that he knew about this before saying “I do.”

👀 REASONS FOR ALL OF THEM:
1. Jordan - She told too many people about the book prematurely. She had a sneak peak of the book, it’s not meant for EVERYONE to know about it yet.
2. Lance - If he didn’t mess around in the first place the chances of this happening would have been much lower.
3. Harper - Just messy! Why would you write a pseudo book about situations you know this man doesn’t know about? Or If you thought he already knew about.. why wouldn’t you confirm it first?
Especially if you KNOW you didn’t tell him or talk to him about it. Also very wrong of you to still want him to get married to her knowing this news could derail things!

4. Maya - ugh… she is my pick.
Because why wouldn’t you tell your future husband that you have not only been with his friend before but that you were you his best man?!
That’s a conversation they should have had. And the movie does a STELLAR job of making her seem like she isn’t a major component of the problem.
From what it seems like, she never knew what was going on behind the scenes.
This further solidified her as the “good girl” because she SEEMED so innocent because she was in the dark.
In my opinion, Mia as Lance’s future wife, had more of a responsibility to tell Lance compared to Harper.
Harper was flawed BUT Mia was silent.
