His Jesus Portrayal is UNMATCHED!! 👏🏾

Because Jonathan Roumie does a TERRIFIC job!

I watched the show “Jonathan & Jesus” which came out a few years ago - it touched on how Jonathan prepared for the role!

He did a ton like visiting the pope, and talked to spiritual leaders and those who ran god centered organizations. He did such a good job of taking his homework and bringing it to life on screen.

I tend to make Jesus really happy or really mad/sad in my mind. But The Jonathan’s depiction helps me see/ imagine Jesus in a more nuanced and intricate light.

And the documentary did a stellar job of depicting the struggles Jonathan endured when waiting for this role to even come about - it was beautiful 🥲

He was my favorite depiction of Jesus because he feels so sincere and so real! He’s how I imagine Jesus was and have to remind myself a lot that he’s not. ❤️

Christ is not white or Arab he is a Black man, Revelations 1:14. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire 15. And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they (burned in a furnace), and his voice as the sound of many waters. The lies will stop one day, and for those who say it don’t matter what color he is, why did the white people make him white, if it don’t matter Christian is false and got everybody fooled. Wake up black people, why would our savior be the same color of the people that enslaved our ancestors, because they taught us their understanding of the Bible and it was the wrong way. Our God and his son looks like us, that bible is our bible it was taken from us in slavery we are not African-Americans, God calls us Israelites they took our name away from us in slavery and gave us other names, stop believing these white people that have a perpetual hatred for us, their lying about our Christ HE IS A BLACK MAN!!!!! [John 8:32]
