Wedding ideas!
My wedding day was such a special day, and it made it soooo much better to know how hard i worked on everything and that my family could be so involved.
1. Instead of calling it a "ring bearer" I called it "ring security". I gave my little brother a special walk out song (mission impossible theme) and he even acted like real security. it was sooo cute.
2. my dad and I have never been "touchy" people. so when we got to the end of the isle where he gave me away, he gave me knuckles. it made a cute moment and great picture.
3. My side of the family is religious, so are my husband and I. So, I had my grandpa of my dad's side say a prayer over us at the ceremony, and my grandpa on my mom's side pray over dinner.
4. I LOVED having a sweetheart table. we had our tables set in a circle (dance floor in the center) and we were able to look out at all of our friends and family during dinner and speeches.
5. A lot of brides HATE the thought of their grooms putting cake in their face. I was against smashing it in their face, but it thought it was super cute when my husband put a little dab of frosting on my nose. ended up with one of my FAVORITE pictures of the whole thing.
6. my mom has made cakes her whole life, and it knew I wanted her to make my wedding cake ever since I was little. BONUS: I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars for my cake!
7. I made all of my own signage and decorations, THANK YOU CANVA!! It was super easy and super cheap, but it looked so good! I fo have experience in graphic design, so that helped haha.
8. we decorated thus mailbox together, our hand prints are on the other side of the mailbox so its not pictured. I loved this idea because we can use it for our future house!!
9. rose petal exit = 1000/10!!! we got real rose petals on Amazon and hand made like 300 cannon tossers for our guests. A rose is my favorite flower and my middle name, so it was super special!!!
Honorable Mentions (Lemon8 only allows 10 pics):
