I wrote this script to call my government reps and tell them i want trump impeached all i had to do is read it as written to my government representatives in my local district which is easy to look up or call the Washington office @ (202) 225-5546. In numbers we are strong.
Script:
“I am calling on Congress to begin proceedings for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
The President has engaged in multiple affairs with which I believe constitutes abuse of power.
Such as signing executive orders in which:
- Freezing payments appropriated by congress for farms, head starts facilities, and economic development programs
- Withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization
- Terminating Diversity, Equity, Inclusion programs in the federal government
- Ending birthright citizenship
- Pardoning January 6th rioters
- Withdrawing from the Paris climate accord
- Laying off thousands of government workers with shallow reasoning
It is the duty of Congress to ensure that the President upholds the law and the Constitution. If the President has violated this trust, impeachment is the necessary step to maintain the integrity of our democracy.
I respectfully urge you, as elected representatives, to fulfill your constitutional responsibility and initiate impeachment proceedings.
I understand the gravity of this action, but the principles of justice and accountability demand that Congress act.”
