Great reminder, live don’t wait.
Keep living… if they wanted you they wouldn’t let you go 🫶🏻❤️#heartbreak
Going through heartbreak can feel like time standing still, especially when you're waiting anxiously for a text that never comes. I remember days when I would continuously check my phone, hoping for a sign or message, only to feel disappointment with each passing moment. What helped me heal was realizing that happiness and fulfillment don’t depend on external validation or waiting for someone else to reach out. Instead, I began focusing on small but meaningful steps to reclaim my joy. Just like the poem’s heart that went for walks, I found that stepping outside and engaging in simple activities helped me reconnect with myself. Whether it was a walk in the park, journaling, or trying new hobbies, I shifted attention away from my empty inbox to the world around me. One important lesson I learned is that healing is an active process. It’s about choosing yourself every day—even when it hurts—and building a life that feels good inside. Instead of waiting for someone who didn’t prioritize me, I chose to prioritize my own well-being. It’s empowering to realize that happiness isn’t about what you receive but what you create within yourself. If you’re going through something similar, my advice is don’t rush the process. Allow yourself to feel the pain but also give space to joy and growth. Moving forward might seem scary, but it’s where you’ll find your strength. The heart stopped waiting for a text, and in doing so, it found life—full and rich—with endless possibilities ahead.
