Budget friendly stores: Ollies

I went into Ollie's for the first time, and let me tell you I found some amazing stuff!

I even found some things that I had in my Amazon cart for over twice the price of Ollie's. Needless to say, I'm definitely going to be going back! If you like thrifting and don't mind hunting through a store for things you like, then Ollie's is for you!

... Read moreSince my first incredible visit to Ollie's Bargain Outlet, I've become a total fan! It's truly a paradise for anyone who loves a good deal and the thrill of finding hidden gems. I wanted to share a bit more about what makes Ollie's so special and answer some questions I often get, especially about specific items and how to shop there effectively. One thing I've learned is that Ollie's is fantastic for home and garden finds. I've seen everything from kitchen gadgets and decor to seasonal items. For those wondering about large flower pots, yes, you can absolutely find them there! Their garden section can be a goldmine. Just last week, I spotted some gorgeous ceramic planters that would have cost a fortune at a nursery, but at Ollie's, they were a fraction of the price. The trick is that their inventory is constantly rotating, so if you see something you love, grab it! It might not be there on your next visit. It's not like a regular store where you can expect the same items every time; it's more like a curated clearance sale that's always evolving. So, if you're looking to spruce up your patio or indoor plant collection on a budget, definitely keep an eye on their garden aisle. You might just find that perfect, oversized pot you've been dreaming of, just like I almost did! Now, about Ollie's Bargain Outlet online shopping – this is a common question! From my experience, Ollie's largely operates as an in-store treasure hunt. While they do have a website that shows some weekly ads and general product categories, it's not set up for general online purchasing in the same way Amazon or Target is. And honestly, that's part of its charm! The best deals and unique finds are almost always discovered by walking the aisles. It forces you to explore, and that's where the magic happens. You never know what incredible markdown you'll stumble upon. So, if you're hoping to browse and buy from your couch, Ollie's isn't quite geared for that. Think of it as an adventure you have to embark on in person! To make the most of your Ollie's trip, here are a few personal tips: Go often: Because stock changes so rapidly, frequent visits increase your chances of finding something amazing. Be open-minded: You might go in for one thing, but leave with five other incredible deals you never knew you needed. That's the beauty of it! Check every aisle: Don't just stick to what you think you need. I've found fantastic kitchen tools in the "seasonal" section and art supplies tucked away with toys. Compare prices quickly: My original post mentioned finding items cheaper than Amazon. It's smart to do a quick price check on your phone for bigger purchases to confirm you're getting the best deal, though often, Ollie's prices are hard to beat anyway. Ollie's isn't just a store; it's an experience. It's where you can furnish your home, stock your pantry, or even find that obscure craft item without breaking the bank. If you haven't been yet, or if you're looking for a new spot to hunt for bargains, I can't recommend Ollie's enough. Every trip feels like a win!
