DIY Dry Erase Calendar
It was so much fun putting this thing together. none of the dry erase calendars really match my esthetic... also, I'm trying to make more upcycled things and just things from scratch to get my creativity going again, so it was kind of a no-brainer to make this myself.
I'm playing with the idea of painting the frame lighter. Maybe that will make the pleating of the green material pop a bit more? Tell me what you think! 💕

Creating your own dry erase calendar can be both an enjoyable and eco-friendly project. With just a few materials such as an old frame, fabric scraps, and some acrylic paint, you can craft a customized planner that fits seamlessly into your home decor. Begin by selecting a frame that speaks to your style preferences—this could be a vintage find or something more modern. The design possibilities are endless, as you can choose colors and textures that reflect your personality. Consider adding pleating or other embellishments to make it unique and visually appealing. If you are unsure of the color choices, start with a base layer and experiment with lightening techniques to enhance different aspects of your design. Many DIY enthusiasts suggest using items that you already own to minimize costs and waste, aligning perfectly with the upcycling trend. Support your creative journey by incorporating materials you love, and don't forget to ask for feedback on your transformations, as community input can be inspiring. This creative undertaking not only results in a functional item but also contributes to a personalized space that inspires organization and creativity every day.
