I'm low key done with the unnecessary KATSEYE hate.
BLAZING HOT TAKE:
KATSEYE needs to STOP being criticized EVERY SINGLE SECOND. they are trying their best to write new songs, answer questions, and give it their all in every performance. it is not their fault Manon & Sophia are on hiatus'. I feel like every single song they pre-release, leak, or release, they get heavily judged and critized for not having enough vocals, or the lyrics, song, and genre is trashy or not suiting for them. their new song, "Hooti Frutti" is probably very good, and had a lot of time and effort put into it. yes, I've heard the lyrics are Portuguese or Brazilian. yes not all KATSEYE members or eyekons are in the ethnicity. but people NEED to understand that KATSEYE, is a global girl group, and they are full grown adults. they have rights to make the songs how they want them. just because they don't have a song you like, or its too weird and gross, does NOT mean you have to bring them down with every comment. appreciate how much effort, time, vocals, training, workouts, routines, these lovely girls have to put in to these songs and choreos. PLEASE I mean PLEAAASSEEE appreciate what these girls do. this TOXIC fandom NEEDS to be deep cleaned. half of these people are brainwashed...stop criticizing members. Daniela does NOT overdance. she was a dancer in her past carrier and earlier years when she was younger. she has more muscle built, stronger hips, and faster movements than then the rest of the members. Sophia is NOT A BAD LEADER FOR THE LAST TIME!!! she cares for EVERYONE, and makes sure everyone is okay and treats the members like her children!!! YOONCHAE, MANON, LARA, DANIELA, SOPHIA, AND MEGAN DO. NOT. DESERVE. HATE!!!! NOBODY SHOULD BE HATING ON THIS GROUP AT ALL. (my opinion btw.)

As someone who has followed KATSEYE's journey closely, I truly empathize with the tough spot the group is in due to constant scrutiny from fans and critics alike. One thing I've learned is that being part of a global girl group means embracing diversity not only in members but also in musical styles. The recent track "Hooti Frutti," which includes Portuguese and Brazilian influences, is a bold step towards blending cultures musically. While some fans may struggle with unconventional genres or lyrics that differ from expectations, it's important to recognize this as artistic growth rather than a flaw. Moreover, the dedication these members show—whether it’s rehearsing rigorous choreography, perfecting vocals, or engaging with fans—is impressive. I've observed how Daniela's strong dance background contributes to her dynamic performances, which might be misinterpreted by some as "overdancing," but in reality showcases her professionalism. Sophia's leadership is another aspect I admire. Despite rumors, she nurtures the group like family, ensuring members are supported emotionally and professionally. This sense of unity is a big reason KATSEYE endures challenges like member hiatuses without losing momentum. The harsh judgments and toxic comments from some parts of the fandom can genuinely affect artists’ mental health. From personal experience in fan communities, I see immense value in promoting positivity and supporting artists through transitions and experimentation. If fans can focus on appreciating the effort and intent behind each release, the energy within the fandom becomes healthier and more encouraging. In essence, KATSEYE deserves respect as they evolve artistically and personally. Their global approach to music and performances is a strength, enhancing their unique identity in the industry. As a devoted follower, I encourage others to embrace this diversity and celebrate the group's continuous growth rather than tearing them down. This shift can foster a more positive environment where creativity thrives, benefiting both the artists and their supporters.
