I've always been cautious about how I clean my fruits, especially strawberries, because so many store-bought fruits come coated with pesticides, waxes, and preservatives that regular tap water just doesn't wash away effectively. After trying ionized Kangen Water myself, I noticed a remarkable difference. When soaking strawberries in high pH Kangen Water (around 11.5), the surface grime, waxes, and pesticide residues visibly loosen and come off, which is something I never observed when rinsing with just tap water. What’s interesting is the multi-step approach: first soaking in alkaline water helps break down and dissolve residues, then rinsing with slightly less alkaline water (around 9.5 pH) balances and neutralizes the fruit’s surface, enhancing its natural flavor. Optionally, a final rinse with neutral pH water prolongs freshness when stored. This process not only improves cleanliness but also impacts the taste and storage quality. From my experience, this method feels like a simple yet powerful upgrade to kitchen routines, especially if you’re concerned about pesticide exposure or want to enjoy your fruit at its freshest.
