𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐫 holds so many memories for us. My SIL Sarah and Brandon got married here, and it’s also where we found out Cayleigh was a girl with Cami girl by our side! 💕

So it felt extra special getting to come back on Cami’s 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 with my parents, Sarah, Brandon, and our girls!

... Read moreWinterthur Museum, Garden & Library is more than just a destination; it's a sanctuary where families connect deeply with history and nature. On my visits, I've always been struck by the tranquil beauty of its gardens and the rich stories held within the museum’s walls. It's fascinating how places like Winterthur can hold such personal significance while also offering a cultural treasure trove. When planning a family trip here, I recommend taking the time to explore the extensive gardens fully. They offer peaceful walking paths and stunning seasonal blooms, perfect for reflective moments or joyful family photos. Inside, the museum's collection of American decorative arts invites you to appreciate craftsmanship and creativity spanning centuries. What makes a trip like this truly unforgettable is sharing those experiences with loved ones. Celebrating milestones like birthdays or anniversaries at a place filled with shared memories adds layers of meaning to both the location and the occasion. For example, returning to Winterthur on Cami's actual birthday, surrounded by parents, siblings, and the next generation, creates a beautiful cycle of family tradition. If you’re considering a visit to Winterthur, I suggest planning ahead to catch special events or seasonal exhibits that enrich the visit. Also, engaging the younger ones with the library’s storytelling sessions or garden scavenger hunts can make the experience educational and fun. Overall, Winterthur offers an intimate setting that feels like home away from home, making every visit feel like a treasured memory in the making.
