Peet’s Coffee ☕️
Did not disappoint #fyp
You know that feeling when your go-to order just isn't hitting the same anymore? That's exactly where I was with my usual Starbucks matcha. After a few too many disappointing drinks, I decided it was time to branch out and try a new coffee restaurant with matcha on the menu – Peet's Coffee! I'd heard whispers, but honestly, I was a bit skeptical. Could it really compare, or even surpass, my old favorite? Walking into Peet's, I was immediately drawn to the idea of trying something different. My main questions were: Does Peet's Coffee even have matcha, and if so, is Peet's Coffee matcha healthy? I mean, we all want our treats to be a little less guilty, right? I asked the barista about their matcha options, and they confirmed they have a delicious ceremonial-grade matcha blend. I opted for a simple iced matcha latte with almond milk, hoping for that perfect balance of earthy notes and subtle sweetness. The first sip? Pure relief! It was exactly what I was looking for. The matcha itself tasted vibrant and fresh, not overly sweet or artificial like some other chains can be. It had a lovely, smooth texture, and the almond milk complemented it perfectly. It definitely didn't disappoint, especially after my recent experiences where Starbucks let us down. It felt like a much more authentic matcha experience. Now, onto the big question that was nagging me: is Peet's Coffee matcha healthy? This is where I did a little digging and personalized my order. Generally, matcha itself is packed with antioxidants and offers a calm, sustained energy boost. What makes a matcha latte healthy or not often comes down to the type of milk and sweeteners used. At Peet's, you have options! I always go for almond milk or oat milk, and I usually ask for less or no added sweetener. Their standard matcha latte might have some sugar, but you can always customize it to your preference. This is a huge win for those of us trying to make healthier choices without sacrificing flavor. Compared to some other places, Peet's seems to use a higher quality matcha, which naturally has a richer flavor, meaning you don't need to add as much sugar to make it enjoyable. It felt like a truly mindful choice, something that not only tasted great but also made me feel good. If you're in the same boat as I was, looking for a delicious and potentially healthier matcha option because Starbucks let you down, I highly recommend giving Peet's Coffee a try. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I've found my new go-to matcha spot!
