empties and their replacements 🧴
whenever i make an empty, i try to replace it with another product that has a similar action because sometimes i don’t want to change what i want to do, but have to use up the products i currently have
🫧 emptied: naturium mandelic acid body wash
i loved this body wash during the summer or whenever i would be out of the house for long periods of time. it makes me feel so clean and i appreciate how it neutralized body odor. it feels refreshing and cooling to the skin, enhancing your shower experience
🫧 replaced with: naturium hyaluronic acid body wash
i’ve been loving the texture of this one, it’s a cushion/gel-type formula that boosts hydration and moisture. especially for winter, this has been great at keeping my skin from drying up right after a shower. the bubbles it has is also really nice, i love a good foamy body wash
💦 emptied: topicals high roller ingrown tonic
great at reducing my ingrown hairs and fading hyperpigmentation after i shave, i also love how easy this is to apply because of the roller ball. i honestly wanted to repurchase this because i love it so much, but i had another serum to try
💦 replaced with: kiehl’s personals intimate drops
this one is also formulated with AHAs to gently exfoliate the skin, but the only thing i don’t like is the application process. trying to reach in the areas i shaved with this product in my hand is a little difficult, but i should be able to finish this bottle with more uses anyways

When it comes to managing your skincare routine, using up products can create an opportunity to explore replacements that serve similar functions. For instance, if you've recently emptied the Naturium Mandelic Acid Body Wash, you might want to consider the Naturium Hyaluronic Acid Body Wash as a hydrating alternative that maintains skin softness. This gel-type formula not only helps in deeply cleansing but also adds moisture, making it particularly beneficial during the winter months. Another popular item is the Topicals High Roller Ingrown Tonic, known for its ability to reduce ingrown hairs and dark spots with ease thanks to its roller ball applicator. If you're looking for a substitute with a similar exfoliating AHA formulation, the Kiehl's Personals Intimate Drops can be a good option. Although it may be slightly trickier to apply, its properties also aim to smooth the skin and minimize irritation. Both of these transitions—switching from Naturium products to Kiehl's or Topicals—are excellent examples of maintaining your skincare goals despite emptying beloved products. This habit not only encourages minimal waste but also opens new doors to discovering products that might suit your skin type even better.

What do the body washes smell like? Do they have fragrance or are they fragrance free? I love seeing the swaps!! 🍋
