‘unnecessary’ necessary skincare 💫

these are the products that you don’t really need because they don’t hold high/general importance in your routine, but if you have concerns that these products can treat, then you may want to have them

🌿 axis-y vegan collagen eye serum

this is great for depuffing the eyes, as well as targeting fine lines or wrinkles. the metal roller ball is a great addition to help spread the product while also ‘cooling’ the skin to help you feel more awake. it’s a lightweight serum that absorbs well into the skin and not feel sticky or heavy

🪷 kahi wrinkle bounce multi balm

i like to use this on my eyes because for some reason, i always get dry patches there. this helps to moisturize the skin while leaving a dewy finish. this balm also helps with fine lines and wrinkles. it’s not thick or heavy on the skin so you can go all around your face if you want to! i also like how it’s a stick, meaning it’s mess free with applying it to the skin

🐚 vt cosmetics reedle shot 300

i’ve used 100 before and loved it for my skin, so i moved up to 300 once i finished the previous bottle. i use this one every other day (or you can do every 3 days) in the morning and there’s a slight tingly feeling, but it doesn’t hurt and it goes away in 10 seconds. this has helped with my texture and remove dead skin cells for soft and glowy skin

👁️ epais eyelash serum

i used to have short lashes, but this has helped grow them a couple millimeters while also adding some volume. it doesn’t burn the eyes because of formula’s pH is very similar to your tears, so it’s very comfortable to use, even if you accidentally get some in your eyes. and not just the lashes, but you can use this on your brows and i think your baby hairs as well!

... Read moreHey skincare fam! You know how it is – sometimes you think you’ve got your routine down, and then you discover a product that you thought was optional, but suddenly becomes an absolute game-changer. That's exactly how I feel about what I call my 'unnecessary' necessary skincare products! We all have those core essentials – cleanser, moisturizer, SPF – but what about those targeted treatments that truly elevate your results and tackle those nagging concerns? For me, it’s all about listening to my skin and understanding its unique needs. While a basic routine keeps things stable, it’s these specialized items that truly transform my complexion. Take eye care, for instance. I used to think a regular moisturizer was enough, but once I introduced a dedicated eye serum like the Axis-Y Vegan Collagen Eye Serum, I saw a noticeable difference in puffiness and those pesky fine lines. The cooling, lightweight formula and rollerball make it so refreshing. It’s not just about applying product; it’s about targeting specific areas that need extra love for plumping eyes. Similarly, I never thought I’d need a multi-balm until I started getting stubborn dry patches, especially around my eyes. That’s where the Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm stepped in. It’s been incredible for moisturizing dry skin and leaving a beautiful dewy finish without feeling heavy. The mess-free application is a huge bonus! Sometimes, our skin just needs an extra dose of hydration and protection, and a targeted balm can provide that precisely where it’s needed most. Then there’s the quest for smoother skin texture. I've been on a journey to combat uneven texture and dullness. Initially, I was hesitant about products like the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 300, thinking my skin might be too sensitive. But starting with a lower concentration and gradually increasing made all the difference. It’s fantastic for gently exfoliating and smoothing skin texture, helping to clear out dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion. If you’re looking to tackle dark spots or just want that soft, radiant feel, incorporating a product that aids in cell turnover can be truly transformative. And finally, those little details that make a big difference – like eyelashes! I always wished for longer, fuller lashes, but didn't think a serum would make that much difference. The Epais Eyelash Serum proved me wrong! I've seen noticeable lash growth, and what I love most is its non-irritating formula, which means no stinging eyes. You can even use it on your brows for extra fullness. It just goes to show that sometimes the 'unnecessary' additions are the ones that give you that extra boost of confidence. My advice? Don't be afraid to experiment a little beyond the basics. Pay attention to what your skin is telling you, whether it’s persistent dryness, fine lines, or texture issues. There's a whole world of targeted treatments out there, and finding your own set of 'unnecessary' necessities can make your skincare routine feel more effective and empowering. It’s not about having a million products, but about having the right products for your skin journey.

Reedle Shot changed my life. If your skin tolerates the 300, try the 700 and their plant-based "PDRN" (ginseng) immediately following. You will not be disappointed!

A brow/lash serum is a great thing to have if you either struggle to grow hair; or if you’ve over plucked/waxed in the past.
