🍕 DUPE ALERT: Little Caesars Crazy Puffs (Turkey Pepperoni Edition)

#emergingcreator

Not your average box mix… but these ARE from a can 😂 Sis said “why buy it when I can make it BETTER” 🙋🏽‍♀️

What you need:

🧈 Garlic butter (parmesan, real butter)

🥐 Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle biscuits (16 count)

🧀 Kraft shredded mozzarella + a cheddar/colby blend

🍅 Tomato, onion & garlic pasta sauce

🥓 Turkey pepperoni

🧂 Italian herb seasoning

How I made it:

1️⃣ Grease your muffin tin real good with garlic butter (don’t skip this step, trust me)

2️⃣ Press each biscuit into the muffin cups, working it up the sides to form a little cup

3️⃣ Brush with garlic butter + a sprinkle of Italian herbs — this is where the FLAVOR starts

4️⃣ Drop a pat of Mozzarella cheese in the middle y

5️⃣ Spoon in your pasta sauce

6️⃣ Layer turkey pepperoni on top

7️⃣ Load up the cheese (I did mozzarella + a cheddar blend for color)

8️⃣ Bake at 375°F until golden, puffed, and bubbly (about 12-15 mins, watch your oven)

9️⃣ Sprinkle a lil more herbs on top when they come out for that bakery finish ✨

Alhamdulillah these came out PERFECT — crispy edges, gooey cheese, garlic butter in every bite. My kids inhaled these before they even cooled down 😭

Little Caesars who? 💅

... Read moreIf you’re a fan of Little Caesars Crazy Puffs but want a more flavorful and fresher alternative, this homemade recipe is a game changer. Using Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle biscuits as the base creates a perfect puff that crisps up beautifully when baked, while the garlic butter greasing step adds a rich, savory depth that makes every bite irresistible. In my experience, the layering of ingredients is key: starting with a base of shredded mozzarella cheese prevents the biscuit from soaking up too much sauce, keeping that soft yet fluffy texture inside. The use of tomato, onion, and garlic pasta sauce imparts a fresh and tangy flavor that’s more vibrant than a shelf-stable sauce, giving the puffs a homemade quality. Adding turkey pepperoni offers a healthier twist compared to traditional pepperoni, maintaining the satisfying savory kick without too much fat. Sprinkling Italian herb seasoning not only enhances the aroma but also ties the flavors together, making the final product taste like it just came from a bakery. One tip I’ve found useful is to watch the baking time closely—usually 12 to 15 minutes at 375°F, until golden and bubbly. Overbaking can make the biscuits too dry, so keep an eye on the edges to get that perfect crisp. For extra flair, a final brush of garlic butter combined with a sprinkle of herbs right after baking gives the puffs a shiny finish and an extra layer of flavor. This recipe is perfect for family dinners, game nights, or when you want a quick, homemade snack that beats store-bought versions. Plus, your kids will love how cheesy and gooey these puffs are! If you want to customize the recipe, consider adding other toppings like diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or swapping the mozzarella with a blend of cheeses to suit your taste. The beauty of this recipe lies in its simplicity and versatility, allowing you to make a crowd-pleasing dish with ingredients you likely already have on hand. Give it a try, and I promise, you’ll never think of Crazy Puffs the same way again!
