Travel tips for new moms! ✈️👩🏻‍🍼🤍

- Doona car seat / stroller

Honestly is the best! Specially during the first few months. It’s quick! you put the baby inside, if the baby falls asleep no problem we take it out of the car converts into a stroller. And it’s pretty all in 1 for on the go no need of the base either!

-vacuum bags

Since we were traveling domestic and wanted to save on flight ticket we went with frontier and they only allow 1 personal item I got a weekender bag and two vacuum bags from dollar tree I put all the baby’s clothes and mine on a separate bag. Took all the air out and I was able to fit both bags inside the weekender and I saved my self money and space!

- Muffy ear protection headband

This saved us along with a bottle from our baby’s ears to pop during takeoff and landing. Also worked for the firework show and for games.

- carrier

I have the wildbird carrier and it’s the best! It’s soft and it’s actually really comfy on me. I put the baby as soon as we were boarding she fell asleep there after the takeoff and she slept the whole time without interruptions and I was also comfy. Worked great when getting off the plane.

- Stroller/car seat bag

I didn’t take a picture of it but I got one from Marshall’s and in there we put the Doona along with her blanket and other miscellaneous items for the baby! #flyingwithtoddlers #momtraveltips #flyingwithbaby #travelingparents #momlife #momsoflemon8

... Read moreTraveling with a baby can be challenging, but with the right strategies, you can make it a rewarding experience. First, consider the Doona car seat and stroller combination, which offers convenience for quick transitions. This product allows you to effortlessly move your sleeping baby from car to stroller without any disturbance. Moreover, managing luggage is crucial. Utilizing vacuum bags not only saves space but also keeps your baby’s clothes organized. This is especially beneficial when traveling with an airline that limits carry-on items. Additionally, ear protection during flights is essential; noise-canceling headphones or headbands can help in alleviating discomfort from cabin pressure changes. Another tip is to invest in a comfortable baby carrier, which keeps your hands free while ensuring your baby stays close. Soft, ergonomic designs like the Wildbird carrier are perfect for long durations, making it easier to navigate through airports. Finally, protect your gear with a stroller/car seat travel bag, maintaining its condition throughout the journey. By planning ahead and packing smart, traveling as a new mom can be enjoyable and less stressful!
