Baby Ear Piercing After Care
You can never be too careful, right? 😬
Make sure you compress the earlobes as well. Like squeeze the earlobe around to piercing to prevent keloids. #babypiercing #babyessentials #momlife #newpiercing #fyp
After your baby’s ear piercing, it’s crucial to follow appropriate aftercare to prevent infections and promote healing. Start by using a sea salt solution—mixing 1-2 teaspoons of sea salt into 8 ounces of warm water. Use this solution to gently rinse the piercing 1-2 times daily. Make sure not to move or rotate the earrings during this step, as it may disrupt the healing process. Additionally, opt for unscented baby soap to clean the earlobes. A tiny drop on the piercing, followed by careful back and forth movement, can help maintain cleanliness. Remember to rotate the earrings gently to avoid buildup around the piercings. Ensuring your baby's ears are clean and dry at all times can prevent issues like keloids and other complications. Monitor for signs of irritation or infection, such as redness, swelling, or discharge. If you notice any concerning symptoms, consult a pediatrician promptly. Keeping up with these practices, paired with love and care, will ensure a smooth aftercare process for your little one’s new piercings.

You don't want to use soap on the area, maybe baby soap is harmless but when I got my ears pierced they said to use sterile saline solution and it worked very well.
