๐ผTo my sisters and brothers in Christ๐ผ
This verse Deuteronomy 6:5 came up in my mind and the Lord spoke to me. Loving the Lord is to keep His commandments and give every part of you and your life to Him. Continue to keep moving forward and keep your eyes on Him. Do not let the enemy try to get you distracted, discouraged, and to keep you away from God. Donโt give up, God loves you and wants you to keep having a relationship with Him. I know there are times where we want to give up because of the storm that we face but I am here to remind you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep moving towards the goal, you are close to the finish line. Amen๐

That powerful verse, Deuteronomy 6:5, has been such a guiding light for me, especially when life throws its toughest challenges. It calls us to 'Love the Lord YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.' But what does that truly look like in our everyday lives? For me, itโs not just a feeling, but an active, daily choice to put Him first in everything. Loving God with all your heart means letting Him shape your desires and affections. Itโs about aligning your deepest passions with His will. With all your soul, it means dedicating your inner being, your very essence, to Him โ your thoughts, your emotions, your spirit. And with all your strength? Thatโs about dedicating your actions, your energy, and your physical efforts to serving Him and living out His purpose. Iโve found that when I intentionally try to apply this, whether it's through my work, my relationships, or even just my morning routine, my perspective completely shifts. This verse isn't meant to stand alone. If you look at Deuteronomy 6:6-7, it continues by saying, โThese commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.โ This really highlights that our faith isn't just personal; it's meant to be lived out openly and passed down. When I reflect on this, I realize the importance of sharing my faith journey and trying to be a living example of Godโs love. Itโs no wonder this is considered one of the 'most important passages in the Bible.' Jesus himself affirmed it as the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-38). Knowing this gives it even more weight and significance for me. Itโs the foundation of a true and deep relationship with our Creator. When Iโm facing a 'storm' โ whether it's stress at work, a personal struggle, or just feeling overwhelmed โ this verse becomes my anchor. Remembering to 'love the Lord your God with all your heart' helps me shift my focus from my problems to His unwavering love and power. It reminds me that my strength doesn't come from myself, but from Him. Itโs truly been my go-to when I need a 'plans for your future bible verse,' reassuring me that He has my best interests at heart, even when I can't see the path ahead. This helps me to remember the 'goodness of Jesus' even when things are tough, and truly gives 'bible verses that have a deep meaning' a whole new resonance. So, how do I practically 'keep my eyes on Jesus' and keep moving forward? I try to carve out a few minutes each day for quiet time, even if it's just listening to a worship song or reading a short devotional. I also find immense strength in community, sharing my struggles and triumphs with fellow believers. And most importantly, I try to practice gratitude, actively looking for God's blessings, no matter how small, in my daily life. Itโs these small, consistent steps that help me truly live out Deuteronomy 6:5 and stay strong in my faith.

Amen
