honest mid-summer check-in from your anxious girlie 🤍
As someone who has been through the ups and downs of summer SAT preparation, I can truly relate to the feeling of being overwhelmed and anxious about progress. One thing that really helped me was accepting that some days will be messy and that it’s okay to skip a study session without beating myself up over it. This mindset shift made a huge difference in reducing anxiety and keeping motivation alive. Using guided resources such as the Lumist Al Tutor was a game changer for me. When I felt behind or confused about what to focus on, I simply typed in my concerns and it recommended three targeted review tasks. This personalized approach lowered my heart rate and made the study workload feel manageable. I also found that having a clear plan, even if incomplete, helped me when my thoughts were scattered. Following one lesson at a time from my study package took away the pressure of designing an entire study schedule all at once. This incremental approach helped me stay consistent without burnout. Mid-summer check-ins became a comforting routine where I acknowledged my progress, however small, and reminded myself that it’s human to have off days. Sharing these moments with other students going through the same journey created a sense of community and encouragement. If you’re preparing for the SAT this summer, remember to be kind to yourself, lean on smart tools for guidance, and celebrate every step forward—even the wobble days.
