The skin is crispy and the meat is tender, but because the pigeon is small, the meat is a bit sparse, just enough to satisfy the craving.

The standard cheung fun, drizzled with a sweet soy sauce, is very flavorful. The char siu adds a perfect balance of sweet and savory, with a fragrant finish.

Among the dim sum I’ve tried in Hong Kong, Dim Sum Here may not be the most exquisite, but it’s definitely authentic. Plus, having quail egg siu mai for the first time made this meal quite unforgettable.
