Blue lagoon has the clearest water and interactions with dolphins 🐬🩷. This trip was taken through Carnival (Glory) cruise and is definitely one of the best party ships compared to others I’ve been on.

If you’re planning a visit or just dreaming of crystal-clear Caribbean waters, let me share my experience and some tips to make your day perfect. Getting to Blue Lagoon is an adventure in itself. We sailed there, and the scenic boat ride offered stunning views of Nassau's shoreline, with charming buildings and swaying palm trees in the distance. As we approached the island, the water transformed into the most incredible shades of turquoise – truly the clearest I've ever seen. The sight of a beautiful white yacht gliding across the ocean really set the tone for a luxurious day. The highlight, without a doubt, was interacting with the dolphins. It's not just a show; you actually get to be in the water with them! Seeing two dolphins glide gracefully through the pristine waters right next to me was a dream come true. We had the chance to pet them, learn about their behaviors, and even get some amazing photos. The trainers were so knowledgeable and passionate, making sure both the dolphins and guests had a safe and respectful interaction. It’s an experience that truly connects you with nature. But Blue Lagoon is more than just dolphins. After our encounter, we explored the island's stunning beaches. The sand was powdery soft, and the calm, warm water was perfect for swimming and wading. There are plenty of spots to simply relax under the sun, whether you prefer a lounge chair or just laying out your towel on the shore. I even spotted a charming white wooden structure on the beach, adding to the picturesque scenery. For refreshments, there are options available to keep you energized. I indulged in a delicious vanilla soft-serve ice cream cone, which was the perfect treat on a warm Bahamian day. While I didn't try it myself, I saw tempting displays of a seafood boil with seasoned shrimp and crab legs – definitely something to consider if you're a seafood lover! The island offers a complete getaway package. My Top Tips for Your Blue Lagoon Island Visit: Book in Advance: Especially for dolphin encounters, spots fill up quickly. If you’re on a cruise, check for excursion packages, as they often include transportation. Sun Protection is Key: The Bahamian sun is strong! Bring plenty of reef-safe sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses. Waterproof Camera: You’ll want to capture every moment, especially with the dolphins and in the unbelievably clear water. Swimwear & Towel: Come prepared to get wet! A comfortable swimsuit (perhaps a stylish green bikini!) and a quick-dry towel are essential. Stay Hydrated: Drink lots of water throughout the day. Explore Beyond the Main Attractions: Take a stroll around the island. You might discover hidden gems or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. Blue Lagoon Island really offers something for everyone, whether it’s the thrill of a dolphin encounter, the relaxation of a beautiful beach day, or simply soaking in the stunning Caribbean environment. It’s a highlight of any Nassau trip and definitely created some of my most cherished travel memories.
