Jinli Ancient Street is a fantastic place to start, not only for its charming stalls but also for the Danxie gift shop opposite the snack stores where intricate stamps await you. Each stamp really captures the essence of the local culture and history, making it a meaningful memento. The Wuhou Shrine offers a quieter atmosphere for stamp hunting, located right outside the gift shop on the route to the Three Sworn Brothers Temple. It’s a perfect blend of cultural exploration and souvenir collecting. One of my favorite stops was the Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base—here you can find the Panda Post near the entrance and Hua Hua’s Home gift shop. Both spots offer stamps that reflect the beloved pandas and their habitat, making them truly special additions to any collection. For a modern twist, visit the Chengdu IFS Mall where stores like Sisyphe Bookstore and the Nikon Store offer unique stamps that contrast the ancient with the contemporary. Lastly, Taikoo Li’s Muji Store, near Daci Temple, is another charming spot with distinct stamps reflecting the minimalist style of the brand and the area. Don’t hesitate to explore beyond these popular spots—you might find hidden gems tucked away in lesser-known shops or local souvenir stands. Combining stamp hunting with sightseeing also enriches your travel experience, as every stamp tells a story! Also, a tip from my trip: bring a dedicated stamp book or create a scrapbook to keep your finds organized and preserve your memories.
