1. BUGIS HAJI LANE - 📍LOKA MADE

The prettiest stamps!! They have stamp

stations at both ends of the store, make sure to cop a $1 postcard (or stamp in your book) for the layered stamp too. Don’t forget to get the monthly stamp at the counter also! Sometimes they put the old seasonal stamps there so you can still stamp it, ask the staff for the previous monthly stamps (they might be keeping it under the counter!)

2. BUGIS GOLDEN LANDMARK - 📍CATALOG 02-34A

Free stamp station outside, more stamps inside (ask the staff!) Some stamps inside are free but the colourful stamps are from one of the consigned sellers, can use with any purchase from their stuff

3. BRASH BASAH COMPLEX - 📍Wheniwasfour 04-41

Also super pretty!! They have a hugee selection of permanent stamps featuring local culture, but also have some seasonal stamps (e.g. Christmas, Lunar New Year)

4. BRAS BASAH COMPLEX - 📍POPULAR 04-23/33

Stamps by the artists from Loka Made! The stamp station is at the cashier counter, free to help yourself. Some mega popular bookstore outlets have stamp stations like this too with different designs, check out my old post about it for the full list

5. BRAS BASAH COMPLEX - 📍FOOK HING TRADING CO. 01-23

Lovely store with a wide variety of pens!! Stamps are near the door

🤭 BONUS: Get a coffee themed stamp if you grab a drink at Narrative Coffee, Bras Basah Complex 01-05.

Let me know if i missed any out! Happy stamping ~

... Read moreIf you're passionate about stamps and visiting Singapore, the Bugis and Bras Basah areas offer an exciting treasure trove for stamp enthusiasts. Beyond just collecting, stamping at these locations allows you to connect with Singapore’s rich cultural heritage and artistic communities. At Loka Made in Bugis Haji Lane, the layered stamps and monthly collections provide a fun way to curate a constantly evolving collection. From personal experience, asking staff about previous or hidden seasonal stamps can reveal some exclusive designs not advertised openly, making your collection truly unique. Golden Landmark’s stamp station is especially appealing for casual visitors since it offers free stamps, perfect if you want to try stamping without making a purchase initially. However, colorful consignment stamps also add a creative touch if you decide to buy any merchandise, allowing you to personalize your purchases. Bras Basah Complex is a hotspot with multiple venues like Wheniwasfour and Popular bookstore offering permanent local culture-inspired stamps. These stamps beautifully showcase Singapore’s traditions and festivals such as Lunar New Year and Christmas, which means your collection can chronicle the city’s vibrant festivities. Additionally, small gems like the coffee-themed stamp at Narrative Coffee add a delightful surprise element for coffee lovers who enjoy combining hobbies like journaling and café hopping. When collecting stamps in this area, bringing a dedicated journal or postcards is highly recommended, so you can immediately enjoy the tactile experience of stamping and layering. Many visitors find that documenting their stamping journey enhances their travel memories and adds a creative dimension to their Singapore visit. Overall, the combination of free, seasonal, and artist-designed stamps makes Bugis and Bras Basah an essential stop for both local and international stamp collectors. It’s not only about stamps but also about the stories each design tells—capturing moments of Singapore’s artistic and cultural evolution through your personal collection.
