Winter and chickens

You never miss the water until the well runs dry… literally. It’s been one week with no running water and temps below freezing, and honestly, this bird is my current spirit animal. We are both ready for the thaw! It’s the little luxuries like a working hose that you learn to cherish the most. 🥶💦🐣

Chickens don't always do good during winter if you are getting birds due to egg prices. PLEASE READ: Chickens are easy to care for I won't lie, but they need pellets, treats, bedding, and coops. Roosts, water. It is been -30 here and we added heat lamps and water 2 times a day.
