Picture this: a large cooking pot, filled with perfectly layered rice, tender meat (often chicken or lamb), and beautifully fried vegetables like eggplant, cauliflower, and potatoes. The anticipation builds as the pot cooks, infusing every grain of rice and every piece of vegetable with rich, aromatic spices.
