LITTLE BLACK BOOK ADHD EDITION

#adhdinwomen #momlife #adhdproductivity #adhdparalysis

INDEX:

🎬Movies/ Tv shows: Things I want to watch. If I don’t write them down I will forget they exist and never watch them.

✈️Places to visit: As a first time mom I want to create adventures for my son and family. I write down local events going on, dates the event is happening along with pricing info.

🤨 Important Information: Bills , Due dates, Dr info really any information that I might need to reference back too quickly.

👩🏻‍💻 Productivity: As full time artist and stay at home mom I write down everything I need to do regarding home life and work life. How I like to make my list is do a MASSIVE BRAIN DUMP. Anything that needs to get done will go down on a list and my goal is always to complete everything within a week. What ever doesn’t get finished will be moved to the next week unless it’s something with a specific due date. I like to write down meal plans, weekly chores, monthly house or car maintenance, and random things that are on my mind at that second. Commissions details and orders and LOTS OF WORK IDEAS. I think the book is mostly filled with random ideas I have but when re reading them I don’t know what i was thinking in that moment since they might just say “blue pen” 😂 that is a working progress still lol..

This system has helped me throughout the past few years. For me if it’s out of sight it’s out of mind. Having this book helps me remember everything I need/want to accomplish. Also on days that I’m absolutely overwhelmed and have a lazy day I don’t feel as stressed as I did without this system. I use this book to cope with adhd paralysis. I write down the things that are on my mind and things I should be doing so when I do have the energy or motivation I have a specific list to look at and get done. Sometimes I get nothing done and sometimes I complete a 2 weeks worth of task in a day. This has been a game changer for me personally.

2024/11/27 Edited to

... Read moreADHD can be overwhelming, especially for busy moms trying to juggle multiple responsibilities. However, utilizing a personal management system can create a significant difference. One effective strategy is to categorize these lists into sections: movies and shows to watch, places to visit, important information, and productivity tasks. This systematic approach not only helps in recalling fun activities but also reduces anxiety regarding deadlines and responsibilities. To fully harness the benefits of this ADHD management style, consider using various methods for organization. For instance, a weekly view allows you to spot overlapping events and better manage your time. You might find it helpful to incorporate visual aids like color-coding or stickers to signify completed tasks or priority items. Additionally, don’t forget the importance of a brain dump method. Writing down every thought, task, or idea without filtering can free up your mind from clutter and help you prioritize what’s truly important. Remember, perfection isn't necessary—focus on progress instead! Embrace the journey with flexibility. Some days will be more productive than others, but having a reference to return to when motivation hits can be a game changer. Learn to celebrate small victories—whether it's planning meals or navigating ADHD paralysis—and allow this comprehensive system to lift some of the burdens off your shoulders.

I swear I mean this with no judgement despite how it sounds but what is the point of adding graphics to pics with words and covering letters? Is it an aesthetic personal preference or unintentional?
