My transparent wellness journey RECAP!

Looking back at this week, most of it is a blur however, it was a LONGGGGG week!

We recently changed our toddler from a crib to a big kid floor bed, and the struggle is REAL! The first couple nights he actually slept really well! So well, I was able to get my workouts done on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. However, Wednesday night into Thursday morning, my son got up at least six times. Mind you, before the switch my son was an excellent sleeper. From then on, we have been getting up here and there and especially waking up very early in the morning to climb into bed mama and daddy.

Because of the struggle I have not really had the energy to exercise for the rest of the week. Besides today! We did get a family walk in today! So I do feel accomplished this week because I did promise myself that I would try to work out at least three times a week and I did just that!

Other things I did this week include, doing a garage sale and getting rid of many things, helped a friend out and watched her three under two while she went to her sister‘s wedding, played in the garden and shopped for a new phone!

Please pray that this mama gets some sleep tonight! LOL! We skipped watching Bluey after our walk so I am hoping that will help! #unfiltered #recap #sleep #toddlermom #momlife #wellness #transition #transparency #week #tiredmom

It's crucial to establish a consistent bedtime routine to ease this transition. Incorporating calming activities such as reading or gentle stretching can promote better sleep for both you and your child. Additionally, maintaining fitness amidst these changes can be difficult yet rewarding. Setting realistic workout goals, like family walks or short home workouts, can help keep you motivated. Furthermore, finding a support system, whether through friends or online communities, can provide encouragement on days when you feel overwhelmed. Be mindful of your mental health; taking small moments for yourself can make a significant difference. This week’s activities, such as hosting a garage sale and gardening, also serve as great ways to connect with your environment and family. Focusing on wellness includes mental clarity and emotional strength, so remember to celebrate your accomplishments, big or small, as you navigate through your wellness journey in this season of life.
