Mushroom Garden table! 🍄
I was scrolling through Facebook reels and this DIY mushroom garden table by ‘Down Mulberry Lane’ stopped me in my tracks! I love to get artsy and craft, but hardly make time for it. This DIY was simple, easy, and ends up looking super cute!
What you’ll need:
🍄 Round piece of wood - I used a serving tray I found at Aldi because I wanted something heavy duty and I’m a perfectionist but honestly any round piece of wood will work!
🍄 Large planter - I almost didn’t find the planter I was looking for until I went to Big Lots! My Big lots had many planters on sale for 40% off end of season. This one I got for $12. You could very well just use a round dorm trash can from Walmart for $3 to save on cost.
🍄 Paint - I’m in the middle of a large outdoor mural currently so I already had exterior paint coincidently enough in the right colors I wanted. You could certainly use acrylic, again I wanted heavy duty because it is staying outside in my garden.
🍄Drill with drill bits and a screw - Once placing the completed serving tray on top of the planter. Use your drill and pilot bit to predrill a hole in the middle and then drill screw in that hole (paint over the screw when completed).
AND THATS IT!
I was able to complete this project during my son’s nap time! Tempted to make a matching red one in the future!
