“Some people don’t need more reminders… they need clear structure they can actually see.

Visual schedules changed the way routines work in our house. Less arguing. Less repeating myself. More independence.

So I created Accessible Visual Schedules for other families who might need the same support.

If this sounds like something that could help your home too, you can find them in my store 🤍”

... Read moreIn my experience, implementing accessible visual schedules has truly been a game changer for managing daily routines, especially in homes with neurodivergent children. I used to spend so much time repeating instructions and facing resistance, which caused stress for both me and my family. But once I introduced clear, visual step-by-step schedules that everyone could see, the atmosphere shifted dramatically. One important aspect of these schedules is that they provide structure in a visible form, tailored to the unique needs of each child. This helps in reducing the feeling of chaos or overwhelm that often accompanies unpredictable routines. For children with ADHD or sensory sensitivities, being able to anticipate what comes next decreases anxiety and empowers them to move through their day more independently. I found that the key is consistency and accessibility; keeping the schedules in a common area where kids can easily refer to them encourages ownership over their tasks. Adding simple icons or color coding also enhances understanding and engagement. Beyond just morning or bedtime routines, visual schedules can support homework time, chores, and even special events. Another valuable tip is to involve your child in creating or updating the schedule, making it a collaborative tool rather than an imposed list. This promotes motivation and accountability. Over time, these accessible visual schedules can reduce arguments and improve communication, creating a more peaceful home environment. For families exploring similar solutions, consider starting small with a few key routines and adjusting as you learn what works best. Accessible visual schedules are not just reminders—they serve as a framework for building independence and confidence in children while easing the daily demands on caregivers.

Book recs for people who don’t like fantasy
I want to be able to recommend more romance books that don’t have fantasy involved because I know some people aren’t into that genre. Although I love fantasy, I have promised myself that this year I would add more dark romance and contemporary romance books to my tbr to spice up my reading a little
