Intro: “There isn’t a lost phone. It's the mirror making that sound.

Suddenly, it feels like liquid beneath my palm. Before I can pull it back, my hand starts sinking into the glass. Panic surges through me. No, no, no, what is going on? I try pulling with all of my strength, but I can’t get my hand out. “Help!” I scream. My horrified expression stares back at me. One more pull—too hard, my balance falters and I tumble forward. A final scream echoes through the shop as the rest of my body is tugged through the liquid glass.”

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

My review: Well I was not expecting that ending for sure. What a cliffhanger!

Daphnes life is great. She has a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful children and she runs the town book club. Then it all crashes around her when tragedy strikes. She’s on her way to a retreat when she falls through a magical mirror into the realm of Threa. She meets Silas in a dragons cave and he offers to help her get back to her world. Little does she know that he’s a King and the realm of Threa is under distress from the reclaimers trying to take over the kingdom. She has 2 weeks to return to her world before people realize she’s missing. Along the way she realizes she wants to return to Threa with her children. But first she has to get back home to them. This begins the journey to find another traveler mirror. The magic system is very cool and unique. There’s fire, water, and air magic that is either connected to your head, heart, or soul. And so many magical beings. And mating bonds. Then of course the traveler magic that hasn’t been seen in centuries! Overall this was a good read. It kept me hooked in wanting to know more. It was kinda cringy in spots with the banter. It felt more YA than adult🤷🏻‍♀️ there is no spice.
