• the texture is on the thicker side but feels like a regular serum, compared to usual vitamin cs that are really thick
anua peach 70% niacin serum 🍑
💰Price: $20
• this serum is seriously glass skin in a bottle
• it leaves my skin so glowy and glassy
• i also love using this before makeup, its the perfect primer
• some say it’s similar to the glow recipe dew drops!
• it’s also just the most gorgeous bottle and smells divine

As someone who’s constantly battling sensitive, acne-prone skin, I know the struggle of trying new products and dreading a potential breakout or irritation. It's not just about finding any serum, but finding ones with ingredients that truly love your skin back! I've learned that understanding a few key ingredients can make all the difference, especially when you're looking for that perfect balance of soothing and effective. First up, let's talk about Heartleaf. This has been a game-changer for my easily irritated skin. The Anua Heartleaf 80% Moisture Soothing Ampoule, which I mentioned, is packed with it. Heartleaf is known for its incredible calming and anti-inflammatory properties, making it perfect for reducing redness and providing a gentle, hydrating boost without any fuss. If your skin feels stressed or reactive, heartleaf is like a comforting hug in a bottle. The OCR even highlighted its soothing and hydrating benefits with panthenol – another fantastic calming agent! Next, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3). Oh, how I adore this ingredient! My holy grail Anua Peach 70% Niacin Serum is a prime example of its magic. Niacinamide is a powerhouse for sensitive skin because it helps strengthen your skin barrier. A stronger barrier means less sensitivity, better moisture retention, and a reduced likelihood of irritants getting in. Plus, it's brilliant for minimizing the appearance of pores and tackling hyperpigmentation – giving you that 'glass skin' glow I'm always chasing, as the OCR beautifully captures. When it comes to brightening and fighting dark spots, Vitamin C is often recommended, but it can be tricky for sensitive skin. That’s why finding a gentle form is crucial. The Dr. Althea Vitamin C Boosting Serum stands out because it's effective without causing irritation, which is rare for Vitamin C serums! It fades dark spots and improves skin texture gently. Also, the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum, which uses Viniferine (62x more effective than traditional Vitamin C for brightening!), is another fantastic, gentle alternative for evening out skin tone and bringing back radiance without the harshness. The OCR confirms its prowess in reducing dark spots and brightening. Beyond these star ingredients, I always look for products that include Panthenol (often found with heartleaf, as seen in Anua's ampoule), which is a fantastic hydrator and skin protectant, or Centella Asiatica (Cica), another amazing ingredient for calming inflammation and promoting healing. Even simple hydrators like Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerin are essential for keeping sensitive skin plump and happy. My biggest tip for anyone with sensitive skin? Always patch test new products! And try to keep your routine simple, especially when your skin is acting up. Avoid harsh fragrances, alcohol, and excessive exfoliation. Focusing on well-formulated products with these gentle, effective ingredients has truly transformed my sensitive, acne-prone complexion, letting me achieve that healthy, glowing skin without the fear of irritation.
