El Salvador 🫶
Traveled to El Salvador for a week & wanted to stay some more! I had an eye opening & mind changing perspective of El Salvador because what I saw on TV was so different to what I saw in person from the places I visited. Saw where my grandma's & mom's homes are & had mixed emotions because not only was it extremely hot & dry but the way they lived was astonishing. They always told me I was blessed & to be thankful for what I have & now I know why...visited so many places & made new memories
El Salvador is often perceived through a wide lens of stereotypes, but the reality there is rich with culture and warmth. This Central American gem boasts stunning landscapes, from its beaches to mountainous regions, each telling a unique story. Many travelers overlook El Salvador, yet it is home to a welcoming community eager to share their heritage. Famous for its pupusas, a traditional dish, and beautiful landmarks like the Ruta de Las Flores, the country invites explorers to have an authentic experience. Understanding the local way of life can deeply change one's perspective on privilege and gratitude. The vivid memories made during my visit will stay with me forever, reinforcing the importance of appreciating our blessings while learning about the lives of others. From the historic sites to the warm smiles of its people, El Salvador is a treasure waiting to be discovered.
